Right-angle iPhone cable? - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

Has anyone found a decent, short iPod/iPhone cable with a right angle connector on the dock end? It would tidy up my interior if I could get a cable that points straight at the usb port (3" away) rather than looping out towards the gearshift. I searched Amazon and Google with no luck; the only one I found is 6' long.

if your using your iphone, just bluetooth connect it. You can stream music from there.

True, but I can't charge it, and not all of the features (i.e. album art) work via bluetooth. I'm also not sure the sound quality is as good, but I don't have any data to support that.

I would like to find one as well. I prefer to play lossless audio or at least very high bit rate files and I don't want to deal with bluetooth hosing that up. Plus this gives me an excuse to use my wife's old ipod classic which holds a lot more tunes than my iphone.

I'm thinking about ordering one of these: http://limb.al/ ($25 after shipping). Seems like it would be perfect for our cars.

One note though: This is a new product and was recently funded via kickstarter ( http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...imbal?ref=live ) I've had the tab open for a while, waiting to see if they switch from Pre-Order to Order. I just refreshed and the part that says estimated delivery changed from September to October. *shrug*

That's a neat idea, but depending on where you place your ipod/iphone whatever, there's risk of overstressing/damaging the usb port, unless you're using a nano or shuffle.
