Fabric hood bras are o.k. if that's what the owner of a car wants. However, he should be aware of what the use of a hood bra does to the paint on his car. The wind causing the bra to buffet ever so slightly will eventually damage the paint underneath. (Sort of like wiping down your dusty car with a dry towel every day.)

The owner should know that unless they remove the bra every time any water gets on it it will wreak havoc on the paint.
You see water get in between the leather and the paint and then heat from the sun causes the paint to fade and bubble. The only way the leather bra will protect the paint is if you remove, dry and clean it every time it gets wet. |

Any vinyl clear bra from 3M (starshield, ventureshield, etc) will work. Find a reputable installer and have it done ASAP. Don't waste your money on a fabric/leather bra - they're tacky, outdated, and do more harm than good to your car's finish.
