Photos - Customized BRZ?

I saw a yellow car in a parking lot from a distance today that looked like a cutomized BRZ or FRS. When I got closer, it was actually a Maserati. Others have noticed the similarity in certain lines but I was very surprised, even though the Maserati is longer and larger. Attached are a couple photos of the Maserati I found on the web.

The twins have a very classic coupe shape, which is why some elements look familiar. You'll also see similarities to cars by Aston Martin, Ferrari, as well as classics like the Datsun Z cars. It's a design that looks good to the human eye; especially when proportioned right. And recently a lot of manufacturers miss certain "golden rules" of car styling (i.e. the car should not be over two wheel-heights tall), while the twins get them right.

I was really hoping the BRZ would come in yellow, and that first picture is the reason why.

That Would have bitch'n...however...it would have to be similar to the Masi, and not the WRX yellow 10 years back. That was gross!

Agreed! I think red and yellow are two colors that can really be hit or miss on a car depending on what shade the manufacturer ends up with.

It really sucks that most car companies have such a limited color palette to choose from. You have the standard white, black, charcoal, silver (boring in my opinion) colors and then the also typical red. And that's it all too often. How about some nice deep purples, oranges, greens, maroons, yellows, bronzes...

Also if u look at the profile of the Aston Martin db9 very similar to the brz especially due to the side vents.
