I have a flowmaster 40 in my Taco but not sure why anybody would put a flowmaster in their FR-S. I only have the muffler and wasn't expecting any major hp gains. I got it b/c it was the cheapest and sounded the best.

I can't say I'm excited about this with the 100 other nice exhaust designs coming out right now. Especially when many of them are made by small, dedicated shops with enthusiasts like us. Just my $.02, but it was bound to happen.

I kinda wish they had offered just an axle-back, or a resonated cat-back. Their system sounds good, but that top end tininess irks me. A resonator would probably keep the Flowmaster "break-up", but kill some of the tin.

I know there are a lot of small shops doing awesome exhausts systems! Lots of choices! it is just amazing that this car made Flowmaster (mostly deals w/ american muscle car) be attracted and chip in to the community of FT86..
I'm lucky to be part of this community! |

Yeah I agree. Out of the Banks, TRD, Borla, JBA and other exhausts for the Tacoma, I though the Flowmaster 40 sounded the best.
