Makes me angry to see this everyday at the gym, spotters are checking out chicks rather spotting their friends...

I've seen similar situations like this, varying from different outputs though. So nothing to that magnitude.

When it comes to adolescents or the not so serious weightlifters who come to the gym every once in a while, they due tend to get distracted at times with side chatter, tv, music, or girls working out.
That's one reason to make sure you have a serious gym buddy to help spot you whenever you're doing some real heavy lifting.
One the gyms I go to actually split up the men and woman due to distraction and not deal with pervs.

But man that video is bit shocking still to me. I'd hate to see anyone endure that type of mishap. It looked like the spotters didn't use correct judgment, probably thinking that guy could bench that weight. And since that man passed away from that incident, it may or should leave a dark lingering "what if" on those boys shoulders for the rest of their lives, imo.

im guilty of checking out chicks at the gym also do not use a spotter, cant find a reliable workout partner. 8yrs without an incident, hope i dont jinx myself.
