Track days anyone? - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

Looks like things have slowed down here quite dramatically, have people migrated?

I was looking to collect any of the southern Ontario people that like to drive and is interested in auto cross/track days.

I’m personally planning to be out there quite a bit this year and was hoping to gather people for some future plans I have in regards to being a driving enthusiast

My Buddy (Miata) and I hope to get back on-track this year.
Blown engines, first mine then the next year his, have kept use on the sidelines the past couple years. GBM seems to be a curse so TMP will likely be our host, when it happens.

I'm hoping to get out to TMP and others too. I was sidelined last year with some health issues.

TMP hasn’t yet posted a long term schedule.
We’ll likely choose a Monday in June if available.
Historically we’ve found Monday the quietest day available after experiencing the Friday and weekend SUV crowd.

I primarily run at calabogie Motorsports park and occasionally make a trip to shannoville.

CMP is doing full track resurfacing before season opener.

I’d love to lap those three tracks but they are now so far away since moving to Chatham. The track tires would be worn out upon arrival. ☹️
