Cable in glovebox

When the vehicle was delivered I found a cable in the glove box. Does anyone know what it is for??

I believe its the wiring harness for the USB port on the centre console (underneath the AC controls). GT models don't have them wired up or something...

that is the usb port cable for the factory upgrade gps head unit.
