Delivery processing and handling fee

Hey everyone,

I found an frs for msrp. But the salesman told me I would have to pay a 755 dollar delivery processing and handling fee. Is that normal?

If you mean the destination fee, then yes that is normal. Otherwise no. Other than required tax/title/licensing dealers charge what they call a documentation fee. This fee is negotiable but typically there are laws that require it to be reasonable. For example for my BRZ limited the doc fee was $100.

I think there was another thread that had this link. It has a table at the end that shows what you typically pay per state

My brother called me today telling me he bought a new BRZ Limited in Oregan for $1000 under MSRP but the dealer is charging $400 to ship it over to SoCal. Pretty incredible I would say.
