Matte wheels maintenance

What's the best way to keep matte wheels clean or clean them to begin with? Brush? Wheel cleaner? Hand cleaner and water? I don't want to damage the surface

Try Simoniz wheel cleaner $3.50 - works for me, no brushing.

What kind of wheels are they specifically? If it's just a straight up matte (like a flat faced set of works or whatever), Sonax Full Effect will remove most brake dust with a PW or good hose stream. A little agitating with a microfiber mitt/soft wheel brush helps too.

It's the corners that have the most build up... It's so annoying to clean that I've contemplated painting a clear coat do that theres no pores for the dirt and grease to work it self in...

I use this stuff: Adam's Super VRT on my TSW nurburing matte gunmetal wheels and it works really well. I know it says its for the tires but works really well to clean matte wheels. I would be careful with some wheel cleaners on matte wheels because they can leave white marks.

I wash my wheels about once a week with soap, water, and a dedicated wheel brush. Never had a problem.

Try wheel wax?
