Indentify this Head Unit

Hi Guys

For some reason we here in South Africa are getting a different head unit installed into the FRS/86. Can anyone identify this unit?

Thanks,

Hi

Nah, thats the best shot I got. I see on the UK and Australian websites they have a higher spec stereo installed. We here in SA are getting a shitty one. There is no branding on the units so I cant try and source one here.

I tried to identify but honestly it would be easier if you were to yank it out and tell us.

This is a dealer dependant option, probably the US or european spec ones dont come with support for SA. I got my GT86 with an Eclipse, and runs on SD card maps, its totally diffrent than any of the ones i saw here. Ill try to snap one shortly.

And yah, the eclipse is good!

Looks like one on the Jap version, check the Jap site and you'll see it as an optional HU. Not sure if it tells you what it is, I don't read Japanese.

Hi

I'm facing the same dilemma. I've had a look at the Caska and similar units - they're plug & play and fits perfectly but they're' apparently not very good and also very overpriced.

Have you managed to find anything yet?
