"Static" like noise coming from somewhere
hey so Ive just been noticing this static type noise coming from somewhere I cannot locate exactly where. It only happens around 3-4k rpm and it only happens when i let off the gas. what could it be?

air intake? does it do it without the motor installed?

Exhaust heat shield barely touching and vibrating? I'd also like to know if the sound continues after motor removal.

Go ahead and put the motor back in, then let us know if you hear that sound whether or not the car is moving or does it do it by just revving the motor.
