i’m looking to upgrade the audio in my BRZ, should I just do speakers? new headunit? or replace the factory amp? or all of the above?

I don’t wanna subwoofer (racecar) but I want a little extra sound quality from the OEM setup

depends on how much you're willing to spend, or how far you want to get into it.

I'm also looking for a solution. I would want to upgrade the door speakers. Is there a good plug and okay option while still using the stock amp? Looking for a bit more bass. New head unit is already en route. TIA

I personally think upgrading the head unit is the biggest benefit, having an actual equalizer that let me tweak the frequencies made the audio sound much deeper and richer.

Stock headunit sounds super tinny. I have a friend that upgraded amp and speakers and they sound significantly worse than my cheap android chinese branded headunit from seicane with stock speakers.

The next thing I need to do is get some kind of subwoofer, but I'm too lazy. I don't want to deal with more audio wiring.
