Exclamation Transmission Sound...

I just got my Asphalt MT, a few days ago, first time owning a Manual transmission car. I wanted to ask, can anyone else hear all the gears and clutch moving when driving slow? And I hear something that sounds like I guess I would say, metal rattle? Can anyone here it at low gears/ low speeds as well?

Yep, I made a thread about that metal rattling type of sound. all the noise including that sound seem to be normal from what people say.

Low speeds? Like how low? Your not lugging the engine are you? Lugging would be trying to go up hill below 2000 rpm. Otherwise its pretty normal to hear a slight gear whine while listing very carefully. If your hearing clunks and rattles from the drive line while engaging or disengaging the clutch, you need to practice driving smoother.

This car is just a plethora of sounds and there are cures for all of them. Chang your oil and the engine will quiet down a bit, change your transmission fluid to redline or something like that and change your gear oil to Mobil 1 or something like that and your transmission will be quiet and smoother and won't thud when going into first...Just letting ya know. There are couple of threads on this topic. I would just change your oil after break in and you'll quiet down a lot.
