My First Toyota
1967 - Playa del Rey, CA
First dive trip to Baja the crankshaft separated at the fan pulley, but though running hot we made it back to Hermosa Beach in normal time. Toyota replaced the whole engine without my asking, and air freighted the original back to Japan for tear down analysis. Never had another problem with the 'cruiser. |
