Non-US market accessories
Hi, this is a bit of an oddball topic.
I'm from Australia and I've ordered a 2022 BRZ in Crystal white pearl. I've noticed that on the US website there are a ton of options, whereas in Australia we seem to mostly just have the external trim pieces. Now here's my question: Are these US accessories made by Subaru in Japan, or are they made by Subaru of America specifically for the US market? I'm really keen on these auto-dimming mirrors, but I'm not sure whether a US one will fit on my RHD car. I'm thinking it might be a safer bet to try to get one from Japan if they exist. |

for what its worth, im in the US and i have the japanese version of the STI aero kit installed. other than the language of the instructions it seems to be the same. No idea on the mirror.
Wouldnt it get confused and point you backwards since you live in the upside down? |
