Knee Pad or Brace Solutions??
Hey all, what has everyone been doing for knee pads or knee braces on track days or autocross? Im pretty bruised up from my 25 autocross runs yesterday and will definitely need to find a solution here soon. Thoughts? Ideas?

Cheap, and potentially effective, will report back when they arrive. Ali Express has them for about $1 but then u factor in shipping and time, it's almost not worth it then. |

Hey Midnight,
I have no experience with these but have considered them in the past: https://www.ogracing.com/products/sp...BoCPnsQAvD_BwE I'm sure there are generic ones on Amazon for less, too. |

Here's what I do. No modifications needed.
1. Buy one of these https://www.uline.com/Product/Detail...E&gclsrc=aw.ds 2. Sit in your car, and put the brace where the lower belt goes. 3. Pull your seat back. Tug on the belt to lock it. 4. Pull your seat forward while the belt is locked Voila! Now, you have a tight belt locking you in place. If you went too far forward, try again. And the brace distributed the force of the lower belt so it's not painful. This mod alone took me from a 1:18 to a 1:17 |

Knee pads from Home Depot help me a lot.
Plus lock your belt pulling your seat back and foward. Finally I finished installing the Schroth QuickFit, and of course the knee pads that helps not only with bruises, also to have the leg less open. |

I've got a CG-Lock and also receiving an alternative newer version called CINCH later this week. If the Amazon stick on leather pads don't work I may just get some 3/4inch self adhesive foam and cut 2 pieces to fit my needs.
