Not a direct answer, but here's my experience with skirts. I drive on similar roads and installed mud guards. I decided I wanted the look of the side skirts and replaced the mud guards with the skirts. I found the same if not better protection from the flare along the bottom edge than the mud guard. I still hear gravel but it's not hitting metal.

What I've done, I got the short Rokblokz mudflaps instead so that they wouldn't interfere with the side skirts & rear spats. They also have better debris coverage than OEM &, I can imagine, they will work with any side skirts & rear spats.
