Weird noise in the front passenger side wheel well (i think?)
i recently got my brakes done (all 4, rotors and pads) and now after about 2 weeks with the new brakes i got a god awful sound in my passenger front wheel well. It works fine when i brake but as soon as i come to a stop and let off the brake pedal i get like tick and clunk noise and it will go away after i get moving. It also does it if I'm at a light and I'm stopped and i left off the brake a little to move forward and then stop again. its super hard to describe and i cant really get a video of it. I took it back to the shop that did it and they drove it and the damn car didn't want to do it. it comes and goes but when its there it is horrible. i left off the brake and i get a tick/grind/clunk sound. it just sounds like a clunky/grinding. my brake fluid was also flushed. has anyone had this issue?

My first guess would be that the caliper is sticking. You may wish to have it repaired/replaced.

Except Bubba's shop and he would just soak the old calipers in kerosene and give them a healthy rap with a BFH -

I don't know that anything about that makes sense.
If you replaced the rotors and pads all the way around, that would've eliminated any 'hot spots' on the rotor. Take the wheel off. Are all the anti-squeal clips installed? Are the brake pads installed backwards? Did they use a different model rotor that's slightly larger? Do you have a cat stuck in your wheel?

Could be crappy aftermarket pads that don't fit the caliper. They will shift forward with stopping and backwards when taking off. With the wheel off the ground, can you reproduce the sound by rocking the wheel back and forth?

Back, back, back in the day, we had drum brakes (aka press and pray). Always needed a BFH to get the drums off and some funky spring tools to get the shoes off. Wheel cylinders always leaked. And forget about actually stopping if they got wet.

not always. there's been threads in the past of dimensional variations of pads from package to package, especially on cheap pads. could also still be the anti-squeal/anti-rattle clips. they're easy to lose, and some guy's don't bother locating new one's if one makes a run for shop sewer drain.
rule #1 of "new noise, who dis?" is to first check/inspect the components changed. #2 is to check the things that interact with the changed parts. #3 is to chalk it up to coincidence, and realize that the problem is somewhere else, entirely unrelated to the work performed that was blamed in #1.
