C 112 code?

Hi,

I have a P3 vent gauge and usually when I get a CEL code it will readout P00XX, etc.. However, I recently got a code that read out as C 112. I could not find anything on a "C" code and was wondering what that was.

It doesn't seem like a CEL code as those output as "P0000" and not "C 000".

Anybody have any ideas?

Yeah C is a valid OBDII code letter but it's not one Subaru uses as far I know. Only P or U. Unless maybe it's a non-engine related code or something? When you scan your OBDII port with another device do you see the same code?

Hmm.. I'll have to pull out my bluetooth OBDII scanner and see if it scans the C code then. At least if it does, it will tell me what the issue is, since the Torque app pulls up both the code number and the issue. Will have to try it when I get home tonight.

I've edited the OP to add a photo.

P.S. your attached PDF doesn't seem to work for some reason.

"U" and "C" are usually communication DTC's, "P" are engine DTC's. I could only find 2 C's on the DTC chart and that isn't one of them and neither pertain to our cars and should come up that I could see. I wish I could remember the one guys username here, he would know.
