best tint shop in san diego area - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

Just moved down to SD with the FRS and I am looking for a tint shop to do all the windows (including windshield) and the tail lights. I'm willing to pay extra to make sure the tint is all the way to the edge and that they're not going to fudge up my car with scratches or anything like that.

Please give me your reccommendations! thanks

Mine was done by Solar Care. They come to you, and have a lifetime warranty on the tint. They did a beautiful job all the way to the edges of the windows, without removing my 3rd brake light. Yelp has highest ratings for them of any tinters in SD...Not the cheapest, but probably one of the best:

went to Monumental Workx. I've had 2 vehicles done by Nick and he's done a great job on both, including the FR-S. With the yelp deal, it ended up being $145 which was cheaper than other shops that I called around for

SD Tint is hands down the best; they work on tons of different cars (many of which are exotics). The level of customer service is extremely high and the owner Andrew will take as much time as necessary to answer any questions you might have and even give demonstrations of different types of tint. SD Tint also offers every kind of high quality tint available, so there are all different options for pricing. They even have 2 locations for easier access.

Where in SD are you located?

If you don't mind driving down to the hood, Solar Eclipse is good.

They so they won't mess your car up since they are into cars too.
