FYI: A couple of years ago, when I was looking for my Twin. I found a small used car dealer near my home. The guy was able to look at the various wholesale auctions. It took about 3 months of looking and bidding but a car finally popped up in Tx. Paid $6k for a running, "as is" car. $300 in auction fees, $500, to the dealer. $450 to shipping. Salvage cars were going for about the same price.
