Chasing the concept look

i know most of the members here were sold when the first concept pics came out.

i have now set myself a challenge to get it to look as close to it as financially and physically possible.

these pics had me mesmerized when they first came out and still do. not that the actual car now is a disappointment it still looks beautiful, i just like the concept look.

hmmm, extended headlight covers
blanked out fog light cluster
LED DRL on bumper crease
faux tail light lense on boot lid

we all need goals.

Looking at those photos again, I'm actually surprised at how close the final car is to that concept.

I would love to get those headlight though (except for the silly dlrs).

Truth be told, I personally prefer the production car, but each to their own :-)

I'm actually the same, especially the rear end.

The chrome look light housings annoy me a little. Not sure if I really want to black them out though. Are we even allowed to black em out by law ?

I am not sure how you're going to fit a new type of tail lights on the body that is not designed for it. It might look out of place but I guess with money you can do anything. I see a lot of aftermarket parts makers that will try to replicate in a way or another different looks. For instance I reckon the tail lights will look awesome with double round lights or round and square (Audi TT) where the indicator is.

Just need to paint all the chrome inside to black, problem is getting them open requires a dremel tool or similer and that's too much of a butchery job than I'd like to do.

So hoping some aftermarket options come to market soon.
