FS: Michelin X-Ice Tires and Wheels (Sold)
Price: $600 obo
Location: Falls Church, VA For sale is my winter wheel and tire setup. Stock wheels wrapped in Michelin X-Ice tires (215/45R17). Outstanding winter grip. In my opinion, the best setup for the cold with ice and some snow. In heavy snow, I’d get studded tires; but I also wouldn’t choose a BRZ for heavy snow… Only driven one season (<1,000 miles), so they still have 90% of tread life. Selling because I had a kid and now have a giant station wagon (Audi A6 Avant) to drive in winter. Wheels are straight with no bends. They have some minor scratches but no major rash. It’s my winter setup so looks we’re secondary. My summer setup are 17x9 WedsSports in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S (I like traction). 4 new tires cost $700 from TireRack, so this gets you nearly the same tires plus mounting and a set of wheels for $100 less. I strongly prefer local pickup (Falls Church, VA) but will ship (at buyer’s expense) if no one in the greater DC area bites.
