Unhappy Converting 5x100 bolt pattern to 5x114.3 w

I’m running 225/50/r17 + 35 offset on wheels and tires . I bought wheel adapters converting 5x100 to 5x114.3 bolt pattern with 25mm adapters but when I put them on it sticks out way too much. I have stock suspensions and I was wondering if I should get smaller adapters like an 11mm. Or is there any other option that I can do, I’m trying to tuck, or sit flush to finder .

When you use bolt pattern adapters they have to come in a certain width to accommodate the nuts that bolt them to the stock hub. Any thinner than that and you are putting yourself in danger. I would recommend selling your adapters and wheels and getting wheels with the proper bolt pattern and offset.

Google wheel adapter failures to see what kind of gamble you take everyday.

+35 offset w 25mm spacer, will make +10 offset. You gotta do 1 of 2 things.
1. Get higher offset wheels. If you want to keep the 25mm spacer, you need minimum of +60 offset to get good flushed. Maybe +58~+56 will work, but might be pushing w the wheel design.
2. Get lower spacer. Even 11mm will put the wheel offset to +24, even putting 3 camber will poke out.

Sweet spot for the wheel offset is +32~38 depending on the wheel design AND tire specs. So keep that in mind when you buy the wheels & spacers.
