Adjusting camber plates

My camber plates don't allow so much camber, but I noticed that I can use some more of the slot if I move two of the four screws that hold the lower part to a different hole.
I noticed there is another couple of holes for the screws; doing so the center part of the strut will use all the slot, touching the edge.
Is it safe?
