Smile hvddox 86

Hi guys! Long time no see.

Made a new account with the new name (prev. slow.86) and realized I never did a car journal so here it is.

This is my 2017 Toyota 86 860 Special Edition I bought new at 57 miles in June of 2017.

As you can see I had replaced the tail lights and added some silly stickers pretty soon after getting it. Kinda clean!

Not too long after I did another silly thing and slammed the fuck out of it, because I was young and foolish. BC Racing Extreme Low coils running 14k in front and 12k in back.

Not looking too bad, but now I had problems getting places. What a surprise, lol.

The anniversary of getting the car comes around, and June of 2018 I decided to go ham a little bit. Rallybacker V2 kit, Forgestar M14 wheels, big ol Battle Aero V1 chassis mounted spoiler. Racecar stuff. I just loved the look after seeing pics on Instagram and wanted to give it a go. Definitely a big change!

After a while I got tired of the wrap. It was wrapped a bit poorly, and I was tired of having a white car. Time to change things up again. The 2 year anniversary comes around, and June of 2019 I decide on a new wrap. Introducing the wrap I still have today! Satin carbon composite base with gold chrome "livery".

Finally, last year for its 3rd anniversary I wanted to solve the body kit moving and shuffling about whenever I would hit bumps and decided to go for a molded kit.

This is where we're at now! All caught up. Still thinking about what I want to do for the 4th anniversary this June, but I'm lining another project up soon so I may not have the funds to put into the 86 this time around.

I hope you guys liked the little journey! You can follow me on Instagram here to see more pics and to keep up to date on my build(s)
