Unknown GT86/BRZ Fenders - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

Hi all,

I was at Nikko Circuit this Sunday and saw a GT86 being used for drifting. More importantly, the guy had some really cool overfenders on his car that I am trying to figure out who makes.

Yes, it would have been easiest to ask the owner but I was not able to catch him and speak to him.

Here are the fenders:

The fenders are not URAS or Chargespeed.

Appreciate if anyone can help.

Are you sure they're not generic ebay flares?

I’m not ruling anything out at this point because I haven’t seen any company I know make something this simple for a GT86 but these ones seem to fit far too well, and that cut out for the fuel filler cap doesn’t look DIY.

So if you take them off you have a bunch of drill holes?

100% chance these are just generic fenders from Ebay or elsewhere. They are cut properly to fit on that particular body. There is no chance a brand made fenders to have a perfect cut edge for the gas cap, the STI side skirts, and the custom rear bumper cutoff that this guy has.

Yes, if you take them off, you will have a bunch of drill holes. This goes for any custom wide body kit you install on any car.

Do you know anyone else in the 86 community? Could ask around if they know the owner. I know several but I don't think any have been drifting recently at Nikko, only grip time attacking.

I'd bet like the others have said it's probably a generic overfender that's been fit to our cars.

If anything since it seems fairly clean, maybe the owner had a shop in the area do it.

Do you have any better profile shots of this one in particular? I could pass it around my friend group and see if they know the owner. Just these pics probably wouldn't be sufficient, though.

Hi guys,

I was finally able to connect to the owner via Twitter.

The fenders are generic fenders by URAS for no specific car. He had the fuel cap area cut by the shop that fitted the fenders.

Case closed I guess.
