Pics of the GR86 Front Bumper!
Patent images!
https://www.caradvice.com.au/917467/...atent-filings/ They also have an attempt at a render (not official patent) - looks pretty terrible as it makes the car look very flat. |

It appears that there will be no major differences between the twins in the front lighting this time around. More individuality rather than less would have been nice. Maybe the DRLs will be a bit different....

Also, no 'T" pattern repeating in the front grille. And it verifies GR86 will be the name used, for Australia anyway.
The quirkiness of the '13 Scion FR-S with all the Toyota Easter eggs might be no more. Dash panel T pattern was dropped after first MY, I think. They already sold the nostalgic AE86 fans, this gen are more like Honda Prelude, S2000 fans. Mine's hibernating in the garage with a green light on the trickle charger, refreshed traction fluid in the supercharger and fresh oil in the crankcase. Won't turn over until April Fool's day. As previously, my preference is for the Toyota face.

Excellent! So the spy shots of the camo'd car was in fact this GR86! I I was hoping the new Toyota version would look waaaaay better and this confirms it does!

Can't wait to see it in the flesh. If the pics from the Tristate Subaru Enthusiast Charity Drive made the BRZ look better than the reveal pics, the GR86 will surely be a winner, IMHO.

With good headlights, they just aren't needed. The fogs on my car just *barely* fill in a tiny amount to the left and right immediately in front of the car, I've never found them to be needed or particularly useful in any conditions.
