Difference between trims
Hi All,
This is my first topic so again, I would like to say 'hello everyone' ![]() I am the owner of BRZ from 2017 and I really dislike that silver trims inside the car. I was looking for replacing them with black ones and I am totally confused, because I've found on forum numbers of parts: 1 COVER, PLASTIC Toyota SU00303270 1 - Right door handle 2 COVER, PLASTIC Toyota SU00303271 1 - Left door handle 5 COVER, PLASTIC Toyota SU00301927 1 - Right Knee Pad garnish 6 COVER, PLASTIC Toyota SU00301928 1 - Left Knee Pad garnish 9 COVER, PLASTIC Toyota SU00303190 1 - Shifter surround 10 COVER, PLASTIC Toyota SU00301915 2 - AC vent covers. I've asked local Toyota to look for these parts and they've sent me a quotation. I asked them if they are 100% sure that these are 'black' trims but they cannot confirm that. From what I know Hakone 86 has also black trims so I've get from my friend VIN number and according to that they've looked for trim parts. What is surprisingly - they've found the same parts under different numbers: 1 COVER, PLASTIC Toyota SU003-06137 - Right door handle 2 COVER, PLASTIC Toyota SU003-06138 1 - Left door handle 5 COVER, PLASTIC Toyota SU003-06131 1 - Right Knee Pad garnish 6 COVER, PLASTIC Toyota SU003-06132 1 - Left Knee Pad garnish 9 COVER, PLASTIC Toyota SU003-06136 1 - Shifter surround 10 COVER, PLASTIC Toyota SU003-06128 2 - AC vent covers. The price for Hakone trims is way higher (especially for shifter surround and pad garnish). Does anyone know what is the difference between these parts? Are they finished differently / painted? Btw - does anyone know what is the part number of wheel trim for facelift (2017 or newer) version? Thank you! |

Perhaps you can get a better deal for the original parts at japanparts.com & won't have to worry much about the SKU#
