Drivers Side DRL flickered then turned off

So i have been building my Frs for a little over a year. I bought it used, with low mileage. I am happy with it, i have not done anything electrical, or jumped into power adders just yet. I have focused on cooling system, braking upgrades, and fine tunning handling. I have noticed two problems which i was going to address once i started the cosmetic portion of the build, minus of course any maintenance.
1) i noticed from when i purchased the car, the foglights do not work. Everything is installed, even the push button just does not work, and it caused my passenger side turn signal to blink rapidly.
2) The reason for this post, my drivers side DRL flickered the other day at a stop light. Once i accelerated, nothing hard it turned back on. Today, it is completely dead.

I have searched for a solution, even if there is a bulb but nothing. Is it a resistor? A bulb? Electrical? I need some help. I appreciate you all, and your time

It's impossible to say with certainty without knowing how the previous owner wired up the car.

With regard to the DRL, the easiest thing to do is pull the bulb and make sure it's not burnt out.

Other than that, you'll need to look under the hood and/or pull the bumper off to trace the wiring for the fog lights.

I appreciate the information. I figured, i would have to trace or re-wire the fog lights. As for the DRL if it is as simple as changing a bulb ill start the diagnostic there, and work my way through.

Sounds like the bulbs are already dying out especially if they are halogens. Try to buy a set of 9005 halogen bulbs for your high/drl first. Unfortunately, you can't use LED for high/drl as that's a reflector portion of the assembly & it's illegal to use LED for reflectors in North Am.

I'm not sure what bulbs your fog light uses. If a new set of bulbs doesn't work, you may want to consider upgrading to LED's or upgrade the entire system entirely like Diode Dynamics SS3 (8yrs warranty). They also have the cheaper Luxeon LED fog light assembly with 3 yrs warranty. Check the fuses too. If you decide to stay halogen & the wires are the problem, you'll have to get a new foglight relay wiring kit. Diode Dynamics has this https://www.diodedynamics.com/foglig...iring-kit.html. It's tapped on the low beams so that when the low beams are on, the fogs turn on as well.
