Please tell me I'm not the only one

Had my FR-S for about 3 weeks and then got t-boned. Parts to repair are coming in surprisingly fast. Should be getting it back next week. Anyone else gotten in an accident with their FR-S?

Fortunately ...or unfortunately ...you are far from the first...people are calling it the curse. At least it wasn't you fault. Hope your back on the road soon!

Most accidents I've heard of have been on the West Coast/PNW. There's not many of us in the Midwest and I've only seen 2 FR-Ss rolling around KC. So unfortunate man! I'm also curious to hear the repair shop you selected and how repairs go.

Insurance company estimated about 7500 in damage. What you see in the picture is pretty much the extent of the damage. Only thing is the strut might be damaged as well, but I won't know that until the car goes in for an alignment. I was in St Louis so I took it to the shop that the Toyota Dealership I deal with there does business with. Didn't really have a whole lot of options.

Damn, sorry to hear.

Hopefully you brought it to a well known shop. I've heard stories from cars that get repaired from being T'd not feeling 100% the same since it's the body and not like a front or rear repair.

Is there an actual airbag on the side of the seat?

that sux. neat to see how the side airbags are deployed though. seems like most of the accident are happening to fr-s and not brz, hopefully ill be safe from the curse. sorry for your loss, atleast youre alive and it wasnt your fault.
