Boost gauge reads 0 at idle?

Hello,

I installed a defi boost and oil pressure gauge.
The oil pressure is fine. But when i turn on my car (im boosted/turbo) my boost gauge goes to 0 and stays there. I thought at idle cars have a vacuum. It should read like -17 inHg or am i mistaken?

Not sure what i did wrong. I do have an electronic boost control solenoid i tee into.
