Takeda momentum Dyno test

Hi

My Dyno test gt86 my19 with takeda momentum.

After various tests, max hp is 200 and good torque, but to wheel down 40cv.

There is no difference between stock and with takeda, something went wrong? It has been installed in a workshop specialized in Racing and reprogramming

Was only tested before with stock and after with takeda, without ECU. Tomorrow will be known what hp get with ECU.

there is no difference, because that intake doesn t provide gains compared to stock intake

it s that simple

it s not an upgrade from stock, as stock is already a cold air intake

As others have said, the intake alone really doesn't do anything for this engine

but that intake, ensures to give peaks of 9cv and 10nm. Why do they say something that is a lie?

because they know how to trick dyno plots to make false advertisment and sell things

often with stock tunes, if you change airbox and maf position, it offset the AFR leaning it out
that brings more power in the immediate

After a while LTFT can correct it and the gains are gone

Tuned cars then can show even less differences because the tuner scales the maf for the intake installed so the final result is the same as with stock airbox

only differemt thing is intake sound maybe, and worse maf voltage signal stability bringing out lack of smoothness

So far I think only GrimmSpeed or Mishimoto shows gains but tbh for the gain it's not worth the money. Unless mod bug kicks in or you just want the sound and bling under the hood. Drop in filter and call it a day.

I'm curious if the tune allows you to extract more power from it. Eagerly awaiting the dyno with the ECU flash.

grimspeed one is good because it stabilizes the maf signal
mishimoto cold air i really like it because of the position but umfortunately it can t fit my hks v2

All these aftermarket intakes will somewhat make random results while on stock tune, and when tuned they tend to give just a little bit more airflow at high rpm

with speeds density they work better, if Speed density is well scaled

I have the same CAi with a tune. The car does feel snappier, smoother and freer revving. Not dyno'd, the workshop was keen to get it tested but I haven't had the time to go back..

This is the real gain with a free-er flowing intake, I noticed it on the first drive with my TRD intake. The throttle response is better, and you get a little different sound.
