EDIT: i'm starting to think i made this whole red/red thing up -- a figment of my mind. Is it just that the red lens makes the white bar appear... red? there is a possibility you could prefer the clear lens, white bar, red housing, to make matter more confusing for you

I bought the red edition Valentis 2 years ago and I swear it looks just like those OLM ones or the Modbargain ones. It's indeed a white bar when it's not turned on.
