What Ive gathered is the Canadian community isnt as interested.
I've posted several times we should go to the old AE86 meets and have 86 of new and old but i get zero responses, the old AE86 community had a meet on 86 day. |

Oh geez... how did we miss that? Makes so much sense to have it on that day.
Well, let's set the date for next year... and perhaps the GTA chapter should start a monthly meeting, or something a bit more regular. As well, perhaps setting east, west, north and central meetings would increase turn out, depending on the demand. Any recommendations on next dates, and locations/venues? Let's figure out something for August and September? And let's see where the majority of 86 owners are... I'm pretty central at Yonge and 401. So I'm good anywhere really. Alan C |

Toyota Nation and Dorikaze (the other 2 Toyota Clubs) do a big meet at Tim Hortins near Kennedy Commons once a month, every last saturday of the month.
Where: At the Tim Horton's located inside the Kennedy Commons in Scarborough ON, right at Kennedy Rd and HWY 401. Tim's is right at the corner of William Kitchen rd and Progress ave. Well, things are quite new... there are barely any drivers yet. The first meet at Hamza's in Markham was a pretty good turn out.... more than 9 86's at a meet.
Ertefa? Well, I was thinking this thread was more for an 86 meet. I mean a general car meet is good, but I think the 86 community should have it's own dedicated car meet too. Alan C |
