I just got back from there last night. Was a blast but be careful, THP isnt messing around. On a weekday, after 5pm, cops are usually not around at all. Not true recently... ask me how I know haha

Yeah. Very last turn of the dragon too, going into Tennessee. So glad they dont stake out the Skyway though because if they caught me and friends out there, a ticket would have been the least of the issues hahah

Even caught the whole thing on 2 videos (GoPro up top, cell on dash)

Is THP coverage of TotD seasonal? I went there in May and only saw one trooper sit at the very end of it, where the road opens up and goes along the lake, on the TN side.
It was on a weekday, around 3pm.

It just goes with the territory, and is hit or miss. I've been 5 times now, and never had an incident till this last time. They do love sitting on the far end on the border of TN, had two people from our group get pulled over there last time we went.

Were you up there this past week, at the big Mazda meet?

No sir, it was probably EECMM. I plan a couple trips each year with some fellow speed guys and generally anyone who is interested, I'm planning one right now for October, would love to see some 86ers come out and show us what's what.

I went to two of their meets, but they started to get away from driving and cared more about the car show and getting wasted all weekend, wasn't really my scene. Looks like Tony might be bringing it back around though.

Eh.. it's still a lot about drinking at the mansion. I really prefer the driving as I'm not a heavy partier but I did get a bit loose on the last night. Not everyone was thrilled with BRZ showing up, especially at the hallowed car show hahah
