Missing pegs in the wheel well?

Noticed there were two pegs missing inside the rear wheel wells on each side. Is that how it's supposed to be? Just making sure.

You're talking about the empty holes in the fender well to the fender junction? I've got the same thing. Plus at high speeds (70-80) I hear flapping from the rear wheel wells area that sounds like this plastic not fully retained.

Mine is the same, not sure if it's supposed to be that way? I have the rear diffuser and it's port installed and the bumper cover has to be removed to install it, I thought maybe they forgot some of the clips.

I can't find the original post where it was said, but this is supposedly pre-drilled locations where the slash guards would attach if installed.

Thanks for the heads up, Kimsey. Has anyone bought replacement pegs for them? I can't exactly drive fast enough for them to flap yet, but it sounds irritating.

you could probably go to a hardware store and pick up those plastick screws and see if they fit in there

I too have the port/dealer installed rear diffuser. Wonder if that is part of the issue with possible missing fasteners? Or they could be additional splash guard holes as mentioned above. I can push with my hand in the wheel well behind the tire rearward on the car and move the black plastic around and generate the same sound I believe I'm hearing while driving at highway speeds.
