Gloss Black Voodoo Knob, Installed

Well, I have had Voodoo shift knobs in my Miata(s) for years, and they are excellent. Even though the gloss black isn't my favorite I bought one anyway, and the improvement in shift feel and the height are excellent. I was told by the reps at Thompson that they are getting started on other finishes and styles. I put in my two cents and asked for the matte-black crinkle finish (same as my Miata) as it holds up and doesn't need to be polished to keep it looking perfect. *RECOMMENDED*

It's solid billet aluminum. The weight is excellent. I felt like the weighting and materials of the factory knob made the shift quality feel "plastic"... this makes it feel slightly heftier, and MUCH more mechanical. I LOVE the transformation.

I have had them in my Miatas for years... they make the already perfect Miata shifter feel even MORE perfect.
