got the car to start after having it crank for a while. it idles at 14.7 afr around 1500 rpms then when it drops down to 800 rpms it runs super rich stumbles and shuts off. i had to start from a stock tune due to the last tune being locked by the tuner. fuel pressure is fine i am running a custom turbo kit (cxracing piping) turbo: garret 3076 gen 2 and mishimoto intercooler. along with that this is a built engine by element tuning. just trying to build a base map to get it to my tuner.

then what you expect? you are injecting for 228cc injectors, that means you are injecting 5x the needed fuel, of course you have problems
you won t get away with it without a tune, during crank and short after it car can run in open loop mostly on port injectors, so either you tune it or you go back to stock injectors, no other way to fix it |

Ok with cranking fueling its a raw pulse width , and its not effected by injector scaler.
So you need to compensate for the bigger injectors. Also the bigger injectprs take a bit more time to get to full flow in most cases than smaller injectors. Put all your cranking ipw tables back to stock numbers if you changed them Locate a table called CRANKING FUEL IPW COMPENSATION RPM it should be filled with zero ie zero % compensation. It should be rpm vs temperature Change this to -70, ie -70% compensation in all cells in table Note its minus 70 This should get the car starting on petrol with 1050 cc injectors Last edited by steve99; 07-12-2019 at 07:18 PM. |

did you change the injectors lag time table to the specific values of your new injectors?
edit: yes you did, sorry |

What scaling did you put in for the 1050 injectors, if you put 1050 thats for 40 psi fuel pressure these cars about 60 so for 1050 you neec to put in about 1260 in the scalar not 1050. Also in you pi\di ratio tables cold\warm\hot use 100 % direct injection up to loads 0.4 ie put zero in the cells at all rpm up to load 0.4. Big injectors dont like small pulsewidths |
