Does a hardwire dashcam or radar detector void the insurance?

I plan to get a dashcam (Blackvue dr900 2-cha) and radar detector.
The plan for the detector is to hardwiring into the mirror/Homelink and hardwire the dashcam using power magic pro with fuse taps.

Never did an installation like this before but I think I can handle this (so many tutorials around). Do you think I really need a professional for it? Is there a chance that I can turn on any check lights on the car or cause any major problems?

MAIN question: Will these projects cause any problems with my insurance?

Thanks

why would you think they would cause issues with your insurance? There is a chance having good cameras might help with your insurance.

But Mass is a busybody and still hates car insurance companies. While they don't tell them what they can charge anymore they still won't let them yank you around for foolish crap.
