GT Radial SX2 Q

I have searched on SX2 and have couple of questions I have not seen answers to.

I have stock 15 BRZ on the Primacy tires that need replacing. Have camber bolts and about -2 camber. Use car as DD but am getting ready for first track day and based on Mike CSG and others , thinking of trying the SX2.

I assume they have better grip than stock tires and will stand up to track better. How are they on DD ride and noise? Are they better for DD than the 200 TW.

Thanks for any feedback

They will last way longer then a 200TW and road noise is minimal. I am just finishing off my first set of SX2. 20k miles or so and 4 track days. Still have a bit of life. I haven't driven on a ton of 200TW tires but they are much quitter then my RS3 in the end. They grip better then Primacy and but the main thing is they handle the abuse or tracking better.

Thanks for reply, sounds like a good choice for me. Since I'm a beginner on track, good to have a durable tire to learn on, glad it is not too loud on street.

Perfect learning tire. Very communicative when approaching the limits and the break away is gradual. I've learned way more then I did on RS3 I ran before

I run a set of 245/40/17s on track. They are great. Built like a tank, handle heat well, and are very loud and communicative at the limit.

I don't have a ton of data points for comparison, but they have not been very good on a wet track. A instructor I rode with yesterday was running a set of 215 SX2s and echoed the same sentiment.
