J02 Campaign video

Did a quick video on what happens on a J02 campaign. Sorry for the bad quality.

Out of curiosity, what changed between the older and newer springs?
Also, it seems like the only people who have issues are Toyota/Scion folks. Or are there any Subaru owners who are experiencing issues since the spring replacement?

Ya, like I want someone to take my engine apart like that!

Thanks for posting!

(one suggesting...it is hard to hear what the tech is saying with the music)

Thanks for sharing. My car is in for the recall right now, and all I want to do is watch and see how the engine comes apart and goes back together (both to soothe paranoia, but also because I'm an engineer and interested in that). This video is really what I needed right now.

based on this thread, it seems like it is mostly FRSs but there are a few BRZs sprinkled in there.

Not to drift away from the topic... I noticed from forums for Toyota Highlander and 4runners, seems like Toyota's customer service is pretty bad compared to Subaru. In fact, Toyota's service and standing behind their product are almost as bad as Ford or GM!

Interesting!

Thanks for posting, pinoy_dorifto -

Well, that video adds to my paranoia that, with all those steps and small removable parts, Bubba's cousin down at the dealership, would screw something up.

I'd like to see a bit more detail on the breakdown especially the front end of the motor including the belt, timing cover and timing chain area. Otherwise that's pretty cool and thanks for posting.
