Is Perrin 2.5 resonated supposed to be louder than Greddy SP Supreme?

Just installed my new Perrin 2.5” resonated catback, it sounds kind of loud with ever slight throttle input. I thought Perrin is one of the quiet catbacks for 86, especially the resonated version. I even asked my installer to double check that it was in fact came with a resonated midpipe.

It sounds louder than my previous Greddy SP Supreme, which was also paired with ACE 350 header. I hope this is just the adjustment period I’m going through, since I was on stock catback the entire last month.

I wouldn’t be surprised, Greddy resonators are some of the quietest resonators I’ve ever heard/seen. They are really effective are sound dampening

LOL, it was a loose screw between midpipe and front pipe. Now it sounds so damn sweet.

About the same, Greddy a tad quieter but I can definitely live with Perrin. Perrin’s finish is also better than Greddy.
