Color Opinions
Im posting this because I just wanted to get peoples opinions. Do you think Asphalt is a nice/good color? Reason I'm asking is because I had a hard time deciding which color to get, its was driving me crazy. I wanted something nice & something that wouldn't stand out as much but also noticeable. I would really like your opinions.

You should get Raven, its a nice color that doesnt stand out so much. But looks good at the same time.

True, I was debating between that one as well, but black gets dirty really fast, dirt would be really noticeable.

Asphalt was starting to become one of the color choices I was deciding on... Doesn't show as much dirt as a black car does, has that metallic look, and also has that richness / elegance to it.
I ended up with Firestorm because I like the extra attention, haha. Good luck.

I had this exact same problem prior to ordering. Asphalt was my top choice followed by silver and black, but right at the last second I chose somethin out of left field, just for the hell of it lol. I thought sport car, sporty colour, so I rolled the dice and chose hot lava in the end.

It was between Asphalt and Argento for me. I liked the metalic look of the Asphalt but it showed dust more and looked hotter... I ended up with Argento, less washing!

This car looks so good in all the colours. I swear my top picks change every 5 minutes while I'm on this forum. Makes it hard to commit...

When I saw the Asphalt in person, it looked pretty nice. I was actually surprised by how nice it looks. It's unlike most grays you see out there.

Asphalt was my second choice and might still end up with gunmetal rims.
My 300zx is gunmetal grey and I reckon that Asphalt is a better colour. bit deeper, a bit less metallic and darker. Very nice. I have decided to go with Velocity Orange as it just pops nicely in person. Love it! |

1. Argento - (if you want a light colour) shows the lines of the car really well, pictures do not do this colour justice, not as hard to maintain as white.
2. Asphalt - (if you want a dark colour) love this colour, masculine and reflects well in the sun. Also hides the dirt a bit better than raven. |

It was really difficult for me to choose the colour (Europe, so GT86). First - negative elimination: black - difficult to keep clean, white - here in winter it would get splashed to the roof with black mud, silver - too boring, this is probably the most common colour around, blue - somehow not for me. Then asphalt grey, red or orange - hot lava... I decided on red just because it will match the red stitching and red alcantara on the seats, but when I see photos of asphalt FR-S I think "this looks just amazing".
But see it in person. When I had to decide, there was no cars in the showrooms yet - and you can go and see one. |

Raven or Asphault are my 2 favorite colors for this car. I had them 1 and 2 on my list and ended up getting the raven. The blue is also really nice actually. I never was a big fan of blue cars but the blue they use on the fr-s looks good.
