Passenger Seat Rail

I was wondering if there is anyway to stop the passenger seat from sliding forward. It is just so annoying because where I park it is an incline and always sliding back when I'm with my daughter. I have searched but not found anything.

There is at least one solution... A few guys swapped in a drivers seat from a right hand drive car.

You can remove the side trims on the seat (two bolts and a few clips + the handle that is clipped) and then you can disconnect a cable that unlocks the seat when folding it down. Pretty easy to identify when trims are off and moving / folding the seat.

Did not took any picture so :/

What I do is slide it forward and then press down (sort of bend) on the bar and it will lock foreword. To move the seat back you have to pull back up on the bar. When I say bar I am referring to the bar that is between your legs when sitting in the seat. Not a great solution but better than nothing.

A common annoyance of this car.

I slide the seat all the way forward and then slightly recline the seat back until it clicks, then it will stay in place.

Made a video a while back.

No issues at all except that the rear passenger can't push the seat to the front by itself anymore (only fold it, but I believe it's like this on the driver's side)

For me it was because it's annoying when cleaning the car or when putting some stuff on the rear seat (big bags etc.)
