2017 Internals
This seems like it'd be a common question, but either my search-fu is weak or it hasn't been discussed directly.
How do the upgraded internals in the 2017+ cars affect boost tolerance? Can you "safely" run more boost and/or a more aggressive tune than on the older cars?

The connecting rods for a 2013 and a 2018 are exactly the same part number: 12100AA360
The bearings are also the same. The only difference I can find is that the pistons do have a different part number. But considering the rods are the weak link, I would suspect the newer cars can not take any more boost. https://parts.subaru.com/a/Subaru_20...10-010-01.html https://parts.subaru.com/a/Subaru_20...10-010-01.html |
