Does anyone know of a plug and play solution to make the tail lights on MY2017+ sequential?

Something like the diode dynamics Tail-as-Turn, except for adding a sequential function.

Found a potential solution. Other forum members found a knock off MY2017 tail lights that have the sequential turn function built in:

I would prefer to not purchase a whole new set of tail lights and rather find a better cost-effective solution.

If the factory LED bulbs are all wired together, no fancy electronics before them is going to make them light sequentially. They have to be wired in a way that lets each one light independently to be able to work sequentially.

That should not be difficult. Can you easily open the tail lights?

It would be difficult if the led's are sealed and not easily accessible individually.
