2018 Driver Dynamics Autoslalom Championship and lapping evenings

Hey everyone, it's that time again. I meant to post this sooner but better late than never I suppose.

I'm once again participating in the Driver Dynamics Autoslalom series at Shannonville Motorsports Park this year. Here is the schedule:

Friday 11th May (Fabi) (tomorrow!)
Friday 8th June (Nelson)
Friday 20th July (Fabi)
Friday 24th August (Nelson)
Friday 12 October (Fabi)

Cost to participate is $55 per event. Registration opens at 4:30pm, drivers meeting at 5:15pm, runs begin at 5:30pm.

There are only 4 classes because turn out to these events isn't huge, in order to foster more competition:

Stock class: A 100% stock FRS/BRZ/86 will be in stock class.

Super stock: Pretty much any modification from 100% stock will move you into Super Stock, even just 200tw tires. This is good for lightly modified vehicles. Can do 2 major performance modification categories to remain in super stock. Note that my car is maxed out for super stock points with just my coilovers and Hankook RS3s. I could go up to RE71r and stay in class but that's about all I can do. I won my class in a shut-out victory last year.

Street Modified: Moderate to heavily modified. Can do all 3 of the above modifications and then some. A competitively prepped STX car will be competitive in this class. You could even do moderate boost and stay in Street Mod as long as you took it easy with everything else.

Modified Class: This is for extreme modifications and/or purpose built vehicles beyond street mod class.

Note that a Snell M2005/SA2005 or newer helmet is required to participate in all events.
