OK to run wheels with no TPMS in '17 BRZ?

I'm getting tires mounted to my Summer/track wheels I just got, thinking about just leaving the TPMS sensors in the stock/winter wheels. This won't disable the car or anything, will it? I'm expecting to just get a warning light...

I've been running without sensors for over a year, no issues. Just remember to check your pressures!

I do it the other way around. Drive all winter with no sensors and all summer with. In the fall the light bothers me for about a day and then I don't notice it anymore. When I switch to summers I keep looking at the dash for a day since something doesn't seem right.

Have not died.
