If you go to the gym and lose 30 lbs, how much hp/torque does that add to your car? :P

Your acceleration will be faster, but your torque at the wheels will average 0.8 ft-lb less in 2nd due to the increase in inertial resistance. At least according to the estimates I plugged in to my calculator. Need to get some numbers off my car still...

Before I race I take some laxatives. I need every ounce to win a race.

We have here a sand that kids use for playing. It is called spielsand. Try to load 4 packs of this in the trunk of any car and see what will happen. I did this last weekend in my Forester.

If you remote control the car then you can cancel out your entire bodyweight.

every 10lbs you lose usually equates to roughly the same performance as a 1hp gain.

FRS: 2750lb+200lb driver and 200chp. P/W=0.0677966 Gain of 1hp: P/W=0.0681356 New Total weight needed for 1hp gain equivalent performance (P/W): P/(P/W)=200/0.0681356=2935lb. 2935lb-2750lb-200lb= -15lb Tldr, on our car the magic number is approximately 15 lb per hp performance gain as measured by p/w. Now, is that a good measurement of performance, ? Acceleration is a better measurement, but that needs more maths and I already told you all the answer to that lol.
